Son of N. Jayaramaiah, from a farming family in Sugaturu, Shidlaghatta taluk, Chikkaballapur district.

Known locally for cinematic and freestyle dance, all through school. The stage came before the camera.

BSc Agriculture and MSc Plant Biotechnology at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru (GKVK). On the university's youth festival teams, he won national medals in theatre, song and cartooning.
